The Red Lightning played a great game for their first time at EDSM. Megan Sievers did a great job pitching facing facing 16 batters and striking out 6. The Red Lightning got their bats going in this game with Sarah Pote, Sami Snider, Meredith Hoffman, Josie Nordhagen, and Emma Sprouse all recording hits. Josie Nordhagen also made a awesome catch in center field in the second inning that certainly saved a couple of runs. Great job girls!

    It was a tough fought game tonight. The Red Lightning got down early but fought their way back to tie the score in the 4th inning but unfortunately it wasn`t to be. Meredith Hoffman pitched a great game striking out 7 batters she faced. Megan Sievers was great behind the plate catching as well. Morgan Lose came in and pitched great also for the Red Lightning. We had a lot of runs scored for the Red Lightning by Josie Nordhagen, Sarah Pote, Desaree Devore and Cassie Lee as well as others.

    The Red Lightning started their season off with a win. Getting on the bases early in this game was key and the Red Lightning did just that. Megan Sievers did a great job pitching striking out four of the batters she faced with Cassie Lee coming in to relieve her and striking out 2 batters as well. Sarah Mumm, Megan Sievers, Josie Nordhagen, Meredith Hoffman, Morgan Lose, Sarah Pote, and Desaree Devore all recorded runs for the Red Lightning.
