Well not the best game to end on but we had a pretty successful season. Maddy was off the injured list and back on the mound where she struck out seven. Contact hits were made by Channing, Annie and Maddy with three, Emily and Mary Grace with two and Michelle and Kaitlyn with one each. Runs were scored by Kaitlyn, Channing, Allison and Annie. Outs were made by Channing (3), Maddy (2) and Michelle (2). This game`s golden glove award goes to Haley Griffin who caught a deep pop fly in left field. The crowd went crazy! Great season girls. Everyone really improved a lot and we hope everyone had a lot of fun. GO DOMINATROS!

    The Crushers had a great fun last game. On the mound mary pitched the first inning striking out 2. Heather pitched the 2 and 3 striking out 1.Mary grace and Natalie were behind the plate.Mary and Mary Grace lead the offense for 2 hits a piece. heather put the ball in play and everyone else had a great eye to get on base. Highlights came in the extra inning of play. Making their Pitching Debuts Emily Seline,Brianna Mutch,Korena Olson, Natalie Smith,Sydney Beasley, Madison Miller, Mary Grace Wachal and Mary Bishop they all had great form throwing to one batter each. Mary was behind the plate for an unusual look behind the plate. Crushers want to send a huge Thanks to the Black Cats for a fun last inning and game!!! Great job by both teams. That is what softball is all about.

    The Yellow Cheetahs played the last regularly scheduled game on Thursday and did so in great fashion. The hitting highlights came from Sami Snider, Sharidan Sunnes, and Meredith Hoffman. On defense some great plays were turned in by Carley Deery, Reyanna Spratt and Megan Sievers. The improvement of the players from the beginning of the year to the end of the year is what makes the parents and coaches proud of their kids. Great job Yellow Cheetahs!!!

    Golden Thunder was on fire tonight! Alisha, Faye, Kaylee, Kennedy S., McKenzie and Olivia hit all 3 times at bat! Amber, Sydney and Lexi followed with 2 hits each! Great plays in the field started with McKenzie grabbing an out when she fielded the ball and tagged the runner going to third. Kaylee and Kennedy S. each had an unassisted out. Sydney fielded a hard grounder and threw to McKenzie at first for the out! Great job Golden Thunder!

    We only had eight hits on the night but all the Dominators crossed home plate for a run. Contact hits were accounted for by Annie and Michelle with two, Channing, Ashley, Mary and Mary Grace with one each. Since Maddy was out with a tonsilectomy Michelle and Allison split the pitching duties and threw alot of strikes to allow our dominating defense to do their job. Those recording outs were Mary Grace (1), Allison (1), Emily (1) and Michelle with 2. Golden Glove award this game goes to Annika (Skywalker) Johnson who mastered the dark side to record four outs, two of which was an unassisted double play with a caught popfly and a tagout on the runner who had left base. Way to use the force, Anakin! Last game is on Monday. Let`s leave it all on the field!

    The Black Cats didn`t do as well in this game against C14. There were 2 strike-outs between Victoria Nesselroad and Marissa Johnson. Mo Petro caught a pop fly for an out and Madison had a throw to Victoria for an out at first. Victoria had a double and Taylor Kooker, Mallory Adams, Mo, and borrowed player Natalie Smith all had singles. A big thanks to our borrowed players, Natalie and Madison Miller.

    The Coaches and the Fans of the Yellow Cheetahs were treated with hustle and smiles on all of the kids faces. The starting line up for the Yellow Cheetahs consisted of Sharidan Sunnes (3rd base), Olivia Evison (Shortstop), Carley Deery (Catcher), Meredith Hoffman (Center field), Megan Sievers (Right field), Maggie Evison (1st base), Reyanna Spratt (Pitcher), Natalie Shipley (2nd base), and Sami Snider (Left field). Way to go Yellow Cheetahs!!!

    Josie Nordhagen started in the infield with a nice stop at short stop. Lexi Miller had a nice stop at pitcher and throw to Madison Nesselroad for the out at 1st. Paige Kain, Emma Parson, Madison Hoekstra and Josie Nordhagen all had nice singles to drive runs into home. Sara Scott had a nice stop on third and throw to Sam Denison for the out at 1st base. Ashlyn Oslon and Gabby Edenburn did a great job in the field throughout the gameand Kasy Hocket di an outstanding job as the catcher.

    As expected, this was a great and close game between these two Carlisle teams. Mary Baldwin and Gabby DuBois battled on the mound, striking out several and walking very few. For the home team Heat, Gabby struck out 11 batters and Shyanne DuBois had a great throw to Katie Berg for an out on at attempted steal at second, and another put out at third to Delaney Beier. Everyone did a great job facing a much-faster pitcher than they`ve gotten used to the past several weeks. Offensive highlight of the game was a great line drive RBI single to center field from Sarah Cummings. Great hustle in the final inning from Mackenzie Lewis and Morgan Fox on getting the ball from the outfield to home for the final out of the game, a play which was finished by Gabby throwing the relay to Shyanne at home. Great game both teams!

    The Crushers had meet their match. The Heat gave us our first loss of the year. Mary came away with 8 strikeouts. The Crushers had not seen much action in the outfield this season and Gabby Dubouis had a hot bat each time up at the plate. Mary Grace was behind the plate getting a pop up for an out. Emily Seline made a great line drive catch at short stop. Heather Fees had a put out from second and Madison Miller had 2 fly catches for outs. Mary Bishop saw action in left and did a great job getting the ball in. The offense was lead by Mary Baldwin and Mary Grace Wachal. Mary had a double and single and Mary Grace had 3 singles. Brianna Mutch and madison also added singles.Natalie,Mary Bishop,and Heather all put the ball in play. Korena and Emily battled at the plate. But the ending of the game was an exciting one emily got on base by 3rd drop strike that got away and we were trying to score her all the way but came up short by some great hustle from the Heat. GREAT GAME BY BOTH TEAMS!

    The Black Cats were missing a couple of players, but played a good game against C14. They struggled a little with hitting in this game, but Marissa Johnson, Ashton Nolte, and borrowed player Natalie Smith all had singles. Our other borrowed player, Madison Miller added a triple. Pitching was pretty good with Victoria Nesselroad getting 6 strikeouts and Marissa adding 1 more. Mo Petro caught a line drive for an out and Madison Staecker also caught a line drive for an out.

    Tonight the Dominators showed their pitching skills splitting the duty between three different Dominator underhurlers who only allowed 16 at bats for the other team. Maddy was 3/6 strikeouts, Michelle threw very well tonight and helped herself with a caught popfly and Allison finished with a three up three down inning retiring all three batters with a stellar infield defense. Not a big night for the sticks with Annie and Emily with 2 and Channing, Allison, Michelle, Kaitlyn and Ashley all putting something into play. Golden Glove award again goes to Emily with three fielded ground balls at second base. Maddy and Michelle each had two outs and Annie and Allison each had one. Good game girls.

    Way to go Golden Thunder! Everybody got hits with Kennadie A., Olivia, McKenzie, Kennedy S., Faye & Kaylee leading us with 3 hits each. Lexi, Sydney, Amber & Alisha all with 2 hits! There were many plays in the game tonight starting off in the first inning with 2 unassisted outs at first by Lexi! Faye caught a fly ball at shortstop and Amber had an unassisted out at second! Way to play Golden Thunder!

    Game played Wednesday June 4. The Green Giants are having fun and playing their best! Josie VanZante fielded several balls in the pitcher position and threw to Molly Hoekstra at first for some outs. Maya Underwood did a good job catching. All the rest of the Green Giants did a great job hustling in the outfield. Good hits by all of the players. Keep up the good work!
